Meaning of 有没有
Definitions from CC-CEDICT.

- (before a verb) Did (you, they etc) (verb, infinitive)?
- Have (you, they etc) (verb, past participle)?
How to use 有没有
Put 有没有 before a noun to ask if something exists or if someone has it, or before a verb to ask if an action happened. It works like a yes-no question, so you do not add 吗 (ma). Example: 你有没有去过北京?(Nǐ yǒu méiyǒu qùguo Běijīng?) Have you ever been to Beijing?
有没有 is built from 有 (yǒu, have) plus 没有 (méiyǒu, not have), so it literally asks "have, not have?" Picture someone holding out both options and letting you pick one.
Common mistake: Learners often add 吗 at the end, as in 你有没有钱吗, which is wrong because 有没有 already makes the question. Also remember the negative is 没 (méi), never 不 (bù), so 有不有 is not correct.
