How to use 无论
无论 starts a clause with a question word or an either-or choice, and the main clause usually contains 都 (dōu) or 也 (yě). Example: 无论多忙,他都每天跑步。(Wúlùn duō máng, tā dōu měitiān pǎobù.) No matter how busy he is, he runs every day.
无 (wú) means "without" and 论 (lùn) means "to discuss", as in 讨论 (tǎolùn). So 无论 is "without discussing": there is nothing to debate, the result is the same either way.
Common mistake: Learners often write 无论他忙,他都跑步, but 无论 needs a question word like 多, 什么, 谁 or a choice like 忙不忙 or 还是. Many also leave out 都 or 也 in the second clause, which makes the sentence sound incomplete.
